Today I’m drinking some Costa Rican coffee by way of Japan. A coworker brought back some coffee from a recent trip to Asia, this coffee among them. Nozy Coffee’s “The Roastery” is apparently supplying beans to several highly regarded Tokyo coffee shops. If you find yourself going to Tokyo, there’s a decent review of Nozy Coffee on Timeout.jp.
This particular coffee, the Costa Rica Chispita, was roasted on November 28th so it’s possible the flavor has diminished, but I don’t really taste all the things claimed on the label. I can definitely taste a hint of apple and caramel, and the coffee is really good for a cold January day.
You can buy some for yourself at Nozy Coffee’s website.
