Colombia - First Ascent

In my last post (earlier today) I was drinking Ethopian coffee from First Ascent Coffee Roasters. in Crested Butte, CO. This time I’m drinking the Colombian coffee.

While the Ethiopian coffee had a very lemon-y taste (which was great!) this coffee has strong chocolate flavors. While the Ethipoian would be a great way to start the day, this is a great coffee to end it.

Some background on the Timana region: The name Timana originates from the tribe that originally inhabited this region, the Timanaes, who prided themselves in being the fiercest and most dominant group if the south of Colombia.

Brew Method: Chemex Ratio: 16:1
